What can we fix?
Stale fact. Missing citation. Coverage gap. Vendor brief. Pick one — we read everything that's specific.
Editorial inquiries
One address, read by the editorial team: [email protected].
Use it for:
- Corrections. A stale fact, an outdated regulation status, a vendor claim that no longer holds. Include the page URL and the specific sentence.
- Source disputes. A citation that doesn't say what we claim it says, or a primary source we missed. Include the URL of the source you'd substitute.
- Coverage gaps. A reg, vendor, or workflow question we haven't covered. Tell us why it matters to your practice — that's the signal we sort on.
- Vendor briefs. If you build or sell tax-AI tooling and want us to look at it, send the product link plus a one-paragraph description of what it actually does in a return preparer's workflow. Reviews are independent; we don't accept payment for coverage.
- Reviewer / contributor inquiries. If you're a credentialed practitioner (CPA, EA, JD) and want to discuss a paid reviewer arrangement, mention your credential and jurisdiction in the first line.
- Data-rights requests. Access, deletion, or rectification of personal data we hold (newsletter email, prior correspondence). See the privacy policy for the full list of rights and our 30-day response window.
What gets a fast reply
Specific messages get specific replies. Vague messages don't get vague replies, they get no reply. Include the page URL when your message is about specific content. Quote the sentence you're disputing. Link the source you'd substitute.
We do not run a phone line, a CRM auto-enrollment, or a tracking pixel on inbound email. The address above is monitored by editorial only.
What this isn't
We are not a CPA, EA, or tax-attorney firm. Nothing sent to this address constitutes a professional engagement. If you need a return prepared, a position defended, or an opinion you can rely on in front of an examiner, hire a credentialed practitioner. We will tell you the same thing if you write in expecting otherwise.
For details on how we handle the email address you write from — what we store, for how long, who can see it, how to ask us to delete it — see the privacy policy.
